Description de la fonction

Job reporting : The Internship – Business Process reports to the Processed Glass Business Process Expert.

Purpose of the job :

  • Describe the Standard Operation Procedures for each business process;
  • Create and format the SOP’s by process;

“A standard operating procedure (SOP) is a set of step-by-step instructions compiled by an organization to help workers carry out complex routine operations. SOPs aim to achieve efficiency, quality output and uniformity of performance, while reducing miscommunication and failure to comply with industry regulations.”

A standing operating procedure should never be difficult to read or vaguely worded. It should be brief, easy to understand and contain actions steps that are simple follow. A good standard operating procedure should clearly outline the steps and inform the employee of any safety concerns.

The standing operating procedures should be the basis for training any new employees. They should also be updated every year to ensure they stay relevant to the current needs of the organization.

A written standard operating procedure not only lets your employee know how they should be doing their job, it lets them know why. When you explain to employees why tasks are performed in a certain way they will be more likely to complete them.

Standard operating procedures are time-consuming to create at first but the benefits are worth it. And they will save you a lot of time and frustration down the road.



Profil recherché

We are actually looking for interns in Mechanical Engineering, Production & Industrial Processes or in Business Administration.

It is crucial for this role to have:

  • Standard driven and Quality oriented
  • Good in describing activities and taking detailed notes
  • Observer and interest in details and how things are done
  • French or Dutch are main advantages, English is mandatory
  • Good knowledge of MS Office and particularly VISIO.
  • Driver license is required.

Offert
